This prototype DCC adapter is intended for the future Gmeinder. It is equipped with a Plux16 connector and an energy reserve consisting of a 1F super capacitor. This should solve all the problems of micro-cuts on the track.
With the 3-point suspension, and this adapter circuit, we should be able to forget about sudden stops!
The circuit is 24.5mm long and 22.8mm wide, with a total thickness of 9mm.
It has four holes for fixing to spacers using M1.6×0.35 screws. The holes are spaced 20mm apart in length and 19mm apart in width.
It also has two 2.5 mm holes for easy passage of track power and gearmotor wires.
It will be put on test in a few days' time, while the Zimo MX648P16 decoder is delivered.
This circuit will also be retailed for those who wish to equip their models with a DCC sound decoder, whether in 0e / Om, 1:35, or Gn15.
